Community

StratoWeave brings operators, developers, vendors, and integrators together around model-driven, declarative orchestration. You can contribute code, test a deployment, improve the documentation, or bring a network automation problem to the community. The project has a neutral home at the Linux Foundation and is an LF Networking project.

Get involved

  1. Introduce yourself in Zulip chat and tell us what you are working on.
  2. Come to a community meeting to meet contributors and discuss your ideas.
  3. Explore ways to contribute and find where you can help.

Ways to contribute

As an operator you can bring deployment requirements and operational experience for various use cases. Vendors and integrators can help build reusable integrations. Documentation, bug reports, and reproductions are valuable contributions alongside code.

Useful contributions include YANG models, transforms, device adapters, tests, use case requirements, documentation, and feedback from real networks. New to StratoWeave? Start with the tutorials and the instructions in the repository you are interested in contributing to.

Collaborate across projects

We welcome collaboration with other LF Networking projects, open-source communities, and standards development organizations. Join a community call to introduce your project and the problem you want to solve, or contact info@stratoweave.org for an introduction.
